Watery Wednesday

I thought I would show you a few more pictures from our small (very small) harbour. The pictures are all from early mornings. I go this way every workday morning on my bike and sometimes stop for at quick photo.

More Watery Wednesday pictures.

My World

This is a place a short walk from my house. I like it a lot. It is something about the trees, I think.
I often walk past the place, but I have never been closer than this.

A picture from our small harbour earlier this week.

Scenic Sunday

As it rained the other day there was this slight threatening feeling at the small jetty nearby. Does it show? The jetty is private and they have put up a new gate so I couldn't get in. The privious gate was easier to climb around.

If you wonder about the dots on the second last picture it's rain on my camera lens. I didn't bring anything to keep it dry...

Go to Scenic Sunday to see more pictures.

Skywatch Friday

They are building a new road in the neighborhood. I found this huge magnificent cloud when I went over to have a look at the progress.

Log in to Skywatch Friday to see more spectacular skyes.

Outdoor Wednesday

Most afternoons or early evenings I am out for a walk in my neighborhood. This is how it looked earlier this evening while the sun was slowly setting. There haven't been many signs of autumn yet but now I saw that some trees are starting to turn red or yellow, like the maple on the last picture.

Watery Wednesday

I am very lucky to have not only the forest but also the sea nearby. This is the Baltic Sea at Oxelosund in eastern Sweden.

That's My World

A few minutes walk from my house and you are already in the forest. If you like you can follow one of the tracks that are maintained by the local sports club.Or you can just stroll along and make your own discoveries.

You can find more Worlds here.

Early morning view

This is one more photo to show the lovely views I have in mornings on my bike.
Up till now September has been unusually warm and sunny with cold nights and warmer days. Warm for this part of the world that is, close to 20 degrees C. In the mornings it is a bit chillier. I would say around 7 degrees C.

In the back you can see the masts of the boats in the marina from my previous entry.

And getting darker

In my previous post I got a few comments on the long/short nights here. I checked and found out that todays sunrise was at 06:32 and the sunset will be at 18:57. Not too bad.

The picture shows how light/dark it is now in the mornings when I pass the small marina by bike on my way to work. But it will soon get darker.

Past harvest time

This is what I see if I walk just 10 minutes away from home. The harvest was in late August but they haven't quite finished their work yet. I like it that way, it gives me one more interesting thing to look at while I'm taking my walks.

It all has a beginning

This is not my house. I do pass this house quite often though and wouldn't mind living in a house like that. Look at that red colour and those big trees.

This is my first attempt to show what it looks like in the area where I spend most of my time. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.
